Using a whole child approach, we believe that dance and the performing arts have the power to bring everyone joy through a sense of belonging. We do things differently at SDD, and our approach is setting new standards for youth extracurricular activities around the world.
While enrollment is now closed for our current season, we are enrolling for Summer 2025 and will open enrollment for the 2025-2026 Dance Season in late April 2025.

Join us in our 2025 Benefit Show initiative! This year, we’re supporting our neighbors to the west in East Tennessee, where rebuilding efforts from Hurricane Helene’s devastation are ongoing.
We Are Doing Dance Differently!
We believe everyone can Be More at Stage Door, which is why we are constantly rethinking systemic and industry standards, some of which are outdated, toxic, and counterintuitive to cultivating a culture of belonging.
By standing strong in our positioning that dance is an art form for all, we are listening and learning about how we can best achieve our mission.

Recitalpalooza 2025, our festival-style, open-air performance event will be held the weekend of June 6th-8th, 2025. The Magical Mixtape will feature 90’s themed songs that will have you transported to a bright and colorful time when Tamigotchis reigned supreme.
