I am a Junior at North Carolina School of Science and Math on the Durham campus.

Years Danced at SDD:

14 years!

What is the most valuable lesson you learned at SDD?

That you are amazing in your own ways and you can shine through your own greatness.

Advice You’d Give Current Dancers:

Never give up on pursuing your dream because the more effort you put into it, the closer you are to achieving that dream.

Favorite SDD Moment:

Every time I would wait outside before class started with my friends because it offered a time to connect and it really made me feel welcomed as a part of the Stage Door Dance community.

What’s next, and how can we keep up with your success?

In the next couple of years, I hope to graduate from the North Carolina School of Science and Math and continue to dance through dance clubs while pursuing a strong academic career in college.
